Psalm 145:1-9Worship Leader: 1I will extol you, my God

and King, and bless your name forever and ever. 2Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever.

Congregation: 3Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable.

4One generation shall commend Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts.

5On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wondrous works, I will meditate.

6They shall speak of the might of Your awesome deeds, and I will declare Your greatness.

7They shall pour forth the fame of Your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.

8The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

9The Lord is good to all, and His mercy is over all that He has made.

God is GoodEven when it seems the answer’s “no”,the promises of God all find their yesin Christ who worked the Father’s will

belowthat all who run to Him will find their

rest.

And even when it seems He hides His face,and darkness seems to be our only friendwe look to Christ who suffered in our place

that one day all our suffering would end

God is good all of the time; All of the time God is good.God is good all of the time.

God is good.

And even when it seems He pays no mindwe have a guarantee of His great lovein Christ who came and left His crown

behindthat one day we would reign with Him

above.

God is good all of the time; All of the time God is good.God is good all of the time.

God is good.

Lord, we believe, but help our unbelief.Lord, we believe, but help our hearts to

sing.(2x)

You are good all of the time; All of the time You are good.You are good all of the time.

Depth of MercyDepth of mercy can there beMercy still reserved for me?

Can my God His wrath forbearMe the chief of sinners spare?

Lord, incline me to repent,Let me now my fall lament;Deeply my revolt deplore;

Weep, believe, and sin no more.

I have long withstood His grace;Long provoked Him to His face;Would not harken to His calls;

Grieved Him by a thousand falls.

Lord, incline me to repent,Let me now my fall lament;Deeply my revolt deplore;

Weep, believe, and sin no more.(x2)

Still for me the Savior stands,Shows His wounds, and spreads His

hands.God is love, I know, I feel.

Jesus weeps and loves me still.

Lord, incline me to repent,Let me now my fall lament;Deeply my revolt deplore;

Weep, believe, and sin no more.(x2)

His Be the Victor’s NameHis be the Victor’s name,

Who fought the fight alone;Resplendent saints no honor claim,

His triumph was their own.

Trod sin and death beneath His feet,As He was trodden down.

Through weakness and defeatHe won the conqueror’s crown.

Oh, love incomprehensible,Made Thee bleed for me!

The Judge of all hath suffered deathTo set the prisoner free!

He laid the power of Satan low;By light, the dark overthrew;

Bowed to the grave – destroyed it so;And death, by dying, He slew.

Oh, love incomprehensible,Made Thee bleed for me!

The Judge of all hath suffered deathTo set the prisoner free!

Bless, bless the Conqueror slain – Slain in His victory –

Who lived, who died, who lives again in glorious majesty

(x3)

Oh, love incomprehensible,Made Thee bleed for me!

The Judge of all hath suffered deathTo set the prisoner free!

Ecclesiastes 9:1-12 “Grave Guarantees”Sermon notes @

http://bible.com/e/1H4X

Ecclesiastes 9:1-12

Ecclesiastes 9:1

Ecclesiastes 8:9-119 All this I observed while applying my heart to all that is done under the sun, when man had power over man to his hurt.10 Then I saw the wicked buried. They used to go in and out of the holy place and were praised in the city where they had done such things. This also is vanity. 11 Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.

Ecclesiastes 9:

Ecclesiastes 9:

Gospel Application:1)2)3)

Do this in remembrance of me…

2 Corinthians 9:7Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion,

for God loves a cheerful giver.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26For I received from the Lord what I also

delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and

when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this

in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup

is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of

me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's

death until he comes.

Grace AloneI was an orphan, lost at the fall.

Running away when I’d hear You call;But Father, You worked Your will.

I had no righteousness of my own.I had no right to draw near Your throne.

But Father, You loved me still.

And in love before You laid the world’s foundation.You predestined to adopt me as Your own.

You have raised me up so high above my station.I’m a child of God by grace and grace alone.

You left Your home to seek out the lost;You knew the great and terrible cost.

But Jesus, Your face was set.

I worked my fingers down to the bone;But nothing I did could ever atone,

But Jesus You paid my debt.

By Your blood I have redemption and salvation.

Lord, You died that I might reap what You have sown.,

And you rose that I might be a new creation.

I am born again by grace and grace alone.

I was in darkness all of my life.I never knew the day from the night.

But Spirit, You made me see.

I swore I knew the way on my own;Head full of rocks, a heart made of stone;

But Spirit, You moved in me.

And at Your touch my sleeping spirit was awakened;

On my darkened heart the light of Christ has shone.

Called into a kingdom that cannot be shaken;

Heaven’s citizen by grace and grace alone.

So I’ll stand in faith by grace and grace alone.

I will run the race by grace and grace alone.

I will slay my sin by grace and grace alone.I will reach the end by grace and grace

alone!

Just as I AmJust as I am – without one plea

but that Your blood was shed for me;and that Thou bidst me come to

Thee…

Just as I am – and waiting notTo rid my soul of one dark blot.

To you, who blood can cleanse each spot…

Lamb of God, I come. I come.Lamb of God, I come.

(x2)

Just as I am – though tossed about with many conflicts, many doubts,Fights and fears within, without…

Just as I am – wretched, blind;Sight, and healing of the mind;

Yea, all I need in You I find.

Lamb of God, I come. I come.Lamb of God, I come.

(x2)

Just as I am you will receive;Will welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve.

Because You promise I believe.

Lamb of God, I come. I come.Lamb of God, I come.

In TendernessIn tenderness He sought me,

Weary and sick with sin;And on His shoulders brought me

Back to His fold again.

While angels in His presence sang,Until the courts of heaven rang!

O-o-oh the love that sought me!O-o-oh the blood that bought me!

Oh, the grace that brought me to the fold of God;

Grace that brought me to the fold of God!

He died for me while I was sinning –Needy and poor and blind.

He whispered to assure me,“I’ve found thee, thou art Mine.”

I’ve never heard a sweeter voice.It made my aching heart rejoice!

O-o-oh the love that sought me!O-o-oh the blood that bought me!

Oh, the grace that brought me to the fold of God;

Grace that brought me to the fold of God!

Upon His grace I’ll daily ponder,And sing anew His praise.With all-adoring wonder,His blessings I retrace.

It seems as if eternal days,Are far too short to sing His praise!

O-o-oh the love that sought me!O-o-oh the blood that bought me!

Oh, the grace that brought me to the fold of God;

Grace that brought me to the fold of God!

O-o-oh the love that sought me!O-o-oh the blood that bought me!

Oh, the grace that brought me to the fold of God;

Grace that brought me to the fold of God!
