1. EVENT SCHEDULE
Unofficial training: July 22 – 24th Official training: July 25 – 26st (task to be set and procedures practice) Scrutineering & registration: July 23 – 26th (10:00-18:00) Safety briefing: 26th 19:00 (mandatory) Opening ceremony: July 27th at 10.00h First official daily briefing: July 27th at 10.30h Contest: July 27th - August 3rd Prize giving & closing ceremony (public day): August 3rd
2. SCRUTINEERING
- INITIAL WEIGHING to be finished by 26th July, 18.00h - Wing loading 48 kg/m2 - During initial technical check we will check your allowed sport mass (please
come overloaded), - then measure the mass on main wheel with towing bar and vehicle rigged as
for gridding, - PLEASE BOOK TECHNICAL CHECK SLOT AT THE OFFICE ON THE ARRIVAL

3. GRIDDING AND TAKEOFF
- GRID order for first competition day will be determined by lot on Safety briefing (26th July, 19.00 PM).
- After daily weight check on towing configuration place your glider on grid by numbers (ground crew will assist) using the asphalt taxiway.
- Maneuvering areas are relatively narrow – be caution while driving and towing sailplanes.
- In case of taxiing on grass areas, use clear corridors to asphalt runway.
- TAKEOFF procedures you can find in Local procedures. - It will be explained every day during the daily briefing.
- REMEMBER: North traffic pattern in use for landing for re-launch, Towing
airplane will accommodate for your landing. Don’t force to get thermals on low altitude, make safe decision to land on time. Minimum altitude in traffic pattern is 900m AMSL (200m QFE).
4. START PROCEDURE
- Aim of the process is to ensure fluid and safe start for everyone - This include a standard process with rules… and penalties
- Start Speed limit = 170km/h (GPS) / Start max altitude = (see task sheet)
- Process of start : once you climbed in thermal, please listen 119,065
- 20 minutes minimum after last tow, start gate can be open - 5 minutes before opening of start gate: right circling prohibited (more
than90°) in start area - 1 minute before opening of start gate: all pilots must be behind start line

- Tight your seat belt / up volume of radio / stay focus and calm - Use airbrakes gently in high speed, NO PULL UP!
- Report TP will be used for alignment to runway in use
- Call on 123.50 «Call-sign 10 km » - Competition direction will answer: « Call-sign + wind (if needed or any useful
information)»

6. LANDING – WEAK WIND CONDITIONS
Landing from North traffic pattern
- Perform Before landing checks on time, - Standard landing on grass RWY 13/31, - If grass runway is too busy – expect to land on asphalt RWY 13/31, - Make long landing to accommodate landing traffic behind, - Vacate the runway with minimal energy.
Direct landing - Announce direct landing when call 5km, - Expect landing on grass RWY 13L/31R.
Emergency grass RWY 02 - Only in case of strong crosswind (will be advised by Competition director), - To vacate RWY on intersection with grass RWY 13/31.
7. LANDING – STRONG WIND CONDITIONS
Finish will be circle min 3km radius with center on airfield reference point. Minimum altitude will be set by Competition director and noted on task sheet. Emergency grass RWY 02 - Only in case of strong crosswind for RWY 13/31 (will be advised by
Competition director),
- To vacate RWY on intersection with grass RWY 13/31.
8. DAILY ROUTINE
GRID will be open at 9:00h and closed at 10:30h Daily briefing is 10:30h (Opening ceremony 10:00AM first competition day) Interview on the grid (Grid walk) 12:00 – 12:15h First launch at 12:30h Start opens around 14:00h Finishes around 17:00h Interview after landing Daily podium at 18:30h Dinner at 19:00h (at the airfield or in Konoba Ivina arka)
9. TRACKING AND COMMUNICATION
Sponsorship is mandatory (one sticker per sailplane). Tracking is mandatory.

- FLARM RADIO ID (send us igc file of your flarm) - XCSOAR ID if used - Beacon ID if used (like SPOT tracking) or another tracking system
