Scan to SMBMAC Snow Leopard

Go to system preferences.
Click on Network.

Make sure it is running TCP/IP
Take note of the IP address.

Go to SP and select sharing.
-
Tick file Sharing and double click if
necessary; click on options
-
Tick Share files and folders using SMB; tick the user you want to scan to on
the MAC as below:
-
Go to finder and select applications.

Find folder utilities and double click
network utility.

Select port scan and input Ip address
of your MAC, press scan
-
Make sure port 139 is open, this is
your SMB port
-
Go to finder-desktop and create a folder called scans.
Click on the cog and select get Info
-
Under general tick shared folder. Check the right user has the
correct rights

In the command center address book you need either the ip
addr or the host name, to get the host name see below:

Setup in command centre is the same
as widows.

Scanned docs in folder.
