Alternative 1: One Bridge One 58’ Wide Bridge With All Travel Modes (vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians) Temporary vehicular bridge at Moss Avenue during construction for vehicular access Temporary pedestrian bridge connecting Ocean Avenue to the Pier at the north or south
side of the existing bridge.
Alternative 2: One Bridge One 58’ Wide Bridge With All Travel Modes (vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians) Temporary vehicular ramp at 1550 Parking Lot during construction for vehicular access Temporary pedestrian bridge connecting Ocean Avenue to the Pier at the north or south
side of the existing bridge.
Alternative 3: Two Bridges One – 34’ Wide Bridge for mainly Pedestrian and Bicycle, with emergency vehicle/ limited
access at the existing location, including a path in compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
One New Permanent Bridge at Moss Avenue for main vehicle access to the Pier and Parking Temporary pedestrian bridge connecting Ocean Avenue to the Pier at the north or south
side of the existing bridge.
