Salmons Population
At the moment, salmon's population has decreased. Within ten years, scientists predict that some salmons will become extinct due to environmental changes and sea lice. Pollution and global warming are contributing to the death of salmons.
Threats to Salmon
There are numerous ways to save salmon such as protecting their habitat, restoring damaged streams, and decreasing the amount of fishing. Salmons' habitats can be protected by conserving water and avoid placing trash in the streams and storm drains. In addition, limiting the use of fertilizers and cleaning chemicals will help to save the salmons because these items are poisonous to the fish.
