• Mutual respect is the inalienable right of all human beings.

Children need respect like a plant needs water.

• Teachers should not use rewards or punishment based systems in the classroom.

• Teachers should allow students to experience the natural and logical consequences of their behavior.

• It is possible to understand children’s misbehaviors by recognizing the main purposes or goals of the child.

Four Goals of Misbehavior

• Attention getting

• Contest for power

• Seeking revenge

• Displaying inadequacy
