• WHY: Improve inventory velocity to match your demand with replenishment and computing the right safety stock

• WHEN: Resize when one of the variables – like demand changes, lead time, transit time, or safety time changes, and if adding or modifying a runline, or adding another supplier

• How Often: Ideally every month or at least once every quarter
