Here’s a quick tip on how to remove background audio noise from a video recording using Adobe Premiere Elements 13. Presuming your Premiere Elements video editing project is open, do the following seven steps.

Here’s a quick tip on how to remove background audio noise from a video recording using Adobe Premiere Elements 13.

Presuming your Premiere Elements video editing project is open, do the following seven steps.

Click on Effects tab in the Action Bar below.

Click on the category selection box.

Select Audio Effects.

Scroll down till you see NewBlue Noise Reducer.

Drag NewBlue Noise Reducer and drop it into the audio clip.

Click the small triangle beside “Strength” under NewBlue Noise Reducer in the Applied Effects panel.

Adjust the Strength level and playback to check, till the background noise is reduced.

Note: The word is Reduce NOT Remove and it works only on constant noise like aircon humming, laptop blower and ambient room sounds.7

Tip: Try the other NewBlue audio effects and see what you get.
