Note: Suppose your partner asks you, "YOU MAD, FOR-FOR ?" and you are not mad? I recommend

that you respond, "NOT MAD ME (while shaking the head

negatively). Or suppose you don't have a boyfriend, (or girlfriend)

and your signing partner asks you if your boyfriend (or girlfriend) gets jealous easy. You might

There are two versions of “BEFORE”

1. Before now = “PAST”2. Before something= “Prior to”

Each of these signs also has variations in production.

The concept of “SELF” can be used for various pronouns.

Myself / yourself / himself / itself – automatic / themselves

Sometimes you may see new vocabulary in a signed

sentence.

Be BOLD and ask what certain signs mean. Use your tools: HEY, AGAIN,

SLOW, SPELL, ALL. If they spell too fast, keep your

hand in the air and do it with them.
