 REGISTER FOR CLASSES

N SYSTEM (SIS)

Sign in to my.msmc.edu

Your login name contains: 1st letter of your FIRST

name 1st three letters of your LAST

name The last four digits of your

MSMC ID number

Click on Student Info System

Click on the Academics tab

View Details to list your registered courses

Course Search to start looking for available courses

Check that the correct term is selected from the drop down menu

In the Department drop down list, select the department of the course you are looking for.

DO NOT FILL IN ANY OTHER FIELDS.

Click Search button at the bottom.

All the courses offered in the term and department will be displayed. .

Scroll through to find a course that fits in your schedule.

Days, time and building

Number of seats left

Click on the course number to find more details about the course.

Once you find the course you want to add to your schedule, click the box in front of the course number.

Then click Add Courses, at the bottom of the page.

FOR LAB CLASSES, add the Lecture first. You will then be prompted to add a CO-REQUISITE lab section.

Click the box to the left of the class you choose and click Add Corequisite

You may get this message if you do not have the required credentials.

It may say Pre-requisite required, Co-requisite required or Prohibited (upper level course).

Check the error message to see why you cannot register.

Continue searching for the courses you need using the Course Search and changing the Department.

Your changes are automatically saved.

There is no “Save” button.

Sign out of the SIS when you are done.
