Reggaeton started in Panama. The genre then

was shaped and made known in Puerto Rico

where it got its name. After it was officially

exposed in 2004 it had spread to North

America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

The typical instruments used in Reggaeton music include sounds computer that often include pianos and guitars.

Reggaeton is played in very populated Latino communities. In the world Reggaeton is played in South America.

Famously Known Artist

Two famously known artist is Wisin Y Yandel. The duo is from Puerto Rico who started their career in 1998. Their music has been heard all over the world. They have won many awards for making clubs jump with many different dances.

Daddy Yankee is one of the most important Reggaeton artist. His music mainly targets the younger generation. He makes music that makes that people can dance to. He has won many awards for his differ collaborations with hip hop and rap artist.

Ivy Queen is a Puerto Rican Latin Grammy nominated Reggaeton composer and singer. She is most commonly known as "The Undisputed Queen of Reggaeton.” because of her music. She is just one of the very few female Reggaeton artist.
