We have chosen this group because theyare an American rock band and we like it. We love this type of music, that is rock, and we have known this group for a long time.Red Hot Chili Peppers is very original and their songs aren’t simple. They play a lot of different instruments, and they have a very big band.

The current members of the band are lead singer Anthony Kiedis, guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, bassist Michael "Flea" Balzary, and drummer Chad Smith.

They all met at his high school years in Fairfax High School in Hollywood, California.

In1988, guitarist Hillel Slovak died of a heroin overdose.

Their musical style blends traditional rock with elements of other genres like funk, punk rock, and psychedelic rock.

Guitarist John Frusciante leftthe band in 2009 for wanting to continue his  solitairecareer, and was replaced by Josh Klinghoffer.
