Proverbs 29:18 (Pew Bible, Page 760)

“Where there is no vision, the people perish” The condition: No vision - When there is no revelation from God or where God’s revelation is not heeded. The consequence : People perish - The people cast off restraint. Exodus 32

“He that keeps the law, happy is he.” The condition : Keep the law - To keep the law is to guard and protect it. - A good guard must: Not be ashamed of what he is guarding. Value what he is guarding. Be willing to sacrifice for what he is guarding. The Consequence : Happy is he

Proverbs 29:6 – “The righteous sing and rejoice.” Proverbs 13:15 – “The way of the transgressors is hard.” John 13:17 – “If you know these things, happy are you if you do them.” James 1:25 – “This one will be happy in his doing.” Mathew 11:30 – “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Psalm 119:165 – “Great peace have they who love your law.”

Are you happy? Do you have peace, joy and contentment? If not why not? Do you believe what God says and will you trust Him?
