Proverbs 27 1 Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for

thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

James 4 13 Go to now, ye that say, Today or

tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue

there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the

morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor,

that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth

away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord Will,

we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye

rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

3

“If the Lord will”

Everything we think, say, or do is always

dependent upon “The Lord’s Will”

God is warning us here against boasting of

ourselves and what we are going to do.

People say, “There’s always tomorrow.”

But there may not be a tomorrow.

More than a saying!

4

Some people say, “I will get saved another day.”

We are not promised tomorrow.

Anything important needs to be done now.

There’s nothing more important than

your relationship with God Almighty

and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Romans 12:3 (KJV) For I say, through the grace

given unto me, to every man that is among you, not

to think of himself more highly than he ought to

think; but to think soberly, according as God hath

dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Proverbs 16 18 Pride goeth before destruction, and

an haughty spirit before a fall.

Humble self before God and begin

right now to live life His Way.

6

2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own

mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.

Don’t brag about what you will do tomorrow.

Don’t brag about what you have done.

Don’t brag about who you are in this world.

3 A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a

fool's wrath is heavier than them both.

A foolish person cannot or will not control his anger.

Self control is produced in us by The Holy Spirit.

Learn to submit

daily.

8

Pray: Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in

Jesus’ Name.

I submit myself unto Your Holy Spirit.

Produce in me the fruit of Your Spirit:

Love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness,

goodness, the faith to be faithful, the

temperance to live a life of godly

moderation.

9

4 Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who

is able to stand before envy (jealousy)?

Jealousy is the worst of

all, because it includes

wrath and anger and

multiplies it.

10

Jealousy or envy may

just be about stuff.

Love envieth not.

Love is happy for

the blessings of

others.

11

5 Open rebuke is better than secret love.

Be certain that those you love know about it.

Show them; bear the evidence of love. 1 Cor 13

And tell them.

12

6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses

of an enemy are deceitful.

(TLB) 6 Wounds from a friend are better than

kisses from an enemy!

A true friend will stick closer than a brother.

Proverbs 18 24 A man that hath friends must shew

himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh

closer than a brother.

Let us be such a friend.
