PRODUCT LISTING GUIDELINES

HOW TO MAKE A PRODUCT LISTINGLogin to your account first at seller.beldara.com

GO TO YOUR DASHBOARDOnce you log in, go to the top right of the page, and scroll over your name. That should give you options to get to your dashboard.

ADD PRODUCTSYour dashboard looks like the image below. Click on the option that says “+ Add Products”.

SELECT PRODUCT CATEGORYNext, select the category of your product. You can either check the name of your product or select from the below mentioned options for the category of your product.

PRODUCT TITLEAdd a product title. Use a long tail keyword to describe your product in a short but detailed manner. For example, Green Wool Scarf, Paisley Printed Silk Ties.

BRAND NAMENext, mention the brand name of your product. In the image below, the brand name has been listed as Whopper Handicrafts.

ORDER PROCESSING TIMEMention the amount of time it will take you to process and deliver the order.

CUSTOMISATIONSFREE SAMPLES: Sometimes, a buyer might want to sample a product before buying in bulk. If you can offer a sample for this product listing, tick the box.

PRODUCT CUSTOMISATION: If you can modify the product quality, size, brand name according to the needs of the customer, then click on the given box. Otherwise, leave it unchecked.

CUSTOMISE LOGO: If you can add a custom logo according to the customer’s needs, then check the given box.

❖ Keywords help buyers find exactly what they’re looking for, or something close enough.

❖ When you use the right keywords, buyers can find your product easily, and this will also improve your listing’s position in the search results.

KEYWORDS

SKU/MSKUThis is a type of product-identifying code, often displayed as a machine-readable barcode which helps to track items from the item list. If you use this kind of code for your product, then enter the details here.

MODEL NAME

Enter the model name of your product in the space given. This helps differentiate it from other similar models in your catalogue.

MANUFACTURER NAMEIf you’re a manufacturer, enter your company’s name.

If you’re a supplier, merchant, importer, exporter, dealer, distributor, then enter the name of the manufacturer of the product.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Mention your product’s features. This is especially important while selling online since most customers wouldn’t know a product’s features and won’t be able to examine it.

❖ Product specifications are details about the product, such as colour, dimensions, weight, volume, material/fabric, lining etc.

❖ Product weight is especially important, since it affects shipping costs.❖ Product specs help customers make informed purchase decisions and

save manufacturers/sellers time that would otherwise get wasted in negotiating and processing wrong product returns. After filling this up, click on Save & Continue.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONGive a detailed description of your product. This helps a potential buyer with any information he may require in order to make a purchase.

UPLOAD PRODUCT IMAGES

❖ Product images help a buyer see what the product looks like, and aid in making informed decisions.

❖ Click presentable pictures of your products i.e. with good lighting and a suitable background that will make your products stand out.

❖ Make sure it has good lighting.❖ The picture should be less than 3 MB in size.❖ It should highlight various product details, if possible.❖ Photograph the product from different angles.❖ It shouldn’t be blurry or out of focus.

UPLOAD PRODUCT IMAGES

Once you’ve uploaded the images, click “Submit Now!”. Congratulations! Your product listing is now ready.

A key point to consider here is that every product category is taxed differently. When you create your product listing, make sure to mention the GST percentage that will be added to your PO/invoice. This will give your buyers a good estimate of how much the purchase would cost them inclusive of tax.

UPDATE TAX INFORMATION

MY BIDS

If you wish to see which auctions you have placed bids on, go to your dashboard and click “My Bid”. This displays your bids on active as well as closed auctions, in that order.

MY BIDS: BID NOW

If you wish for your bid to remain on top and get an edge over your competitors, click on “Bid Now” to edit and update your bid.

MY BIDS: CHAT NOW

If you wish to speak to the buyer in real-time, click “Chat Now” to start a conversation. This real-time communication feature is unique to Beldara.

MY BIDS:ADD TO MY CATALOGUE

This option allows you to add the product and its image to your catalogue. Use this option if you think this is a product you can sell.

MY AUCTIONS

If you’d like to see the e-auctions you’ve created, go to your dashboard and click “My Auction”. It will list both active and closed e-auctions created by you.

GENERATING INVOICESAs a seller, one of the important things you’ll be doing is providing your buyers invoices for their purchases.

1. To create an invoice, click the “Generate Invoice” option on your dashboard.

2. Select the order for which the invoice is to be prepared.3. Input the quantity ordered.4. Add shipping and other charges.5. Input the GST amount.6. Add details such as Invoice/Reference Number, final payment date

and expected delivery date.7. Click “Generate Invoice” to complete the process.8. Enter the email address of your buyer to send him/her the invoice.
