strategia zarządzania wiedzą i jej ochrona; własnośd intelektualna;
(patenty, prawa autorskie, znaki towarowe, prawo dostępu do baz danych, itp.)

"background IP" is generated before the R&D collaboration:
„ … The beneficiaries must identify and agree (in writing) on the background for the action
(‘agreement on background’)…” 24.1Agreement on background
"foreground IP" is generated during the R&D collaboration,
"sideground IP" is generated during the collaboration phase but in not-project related

potentially be anything held by the university (unless the department has its own legal
personality and is the beneficiary)
Własnośd intelektualna
3
Każdy partner projektu ma prawo dostępu do „background” partnerów projektu w celu
przeprowadzenia prac w ramach projektu jeżeli jest to potrzebne do realizacji tych działao;
Beneficjenci muszą udzielad sobie nawzajem nieodpłatnie dostępu do istniejącej wiedzy
potrzebnej im do wykonywania swoich zadao w ramach projektu, chyba że beneficjent
będący w posiadaniu istniejącej wiedzy dopełnił następujących formalności przed
przystąpieniem do umowy:
3
właścicielem wyników jest beneficjent, który je uzyskał;
podział i warunki korzystania z prawa współwłasności

Guidance Social media guide for EU funded R&I projects

3
Communication means taking strategic and targeted measures for promoting the action itself and its
results to a multitude of audiences, including the media and the public, and possibly engaging in a two-
way exchange. The aim is to reach out to society as a whole and in particular to some specific audiences
while demonstrating how EU funding contributes to tackling societal challenges.
What is the difference between dissemination and communication?
DISSEMINATION COMMUNICATION
Covers project results only Covers the whole project (including results)
Happens only once results are available Starts at the outset of the project
Specialist audiences Groups that may use the results in their own work, including peer groups, industry, professional organisations, policymakers
Multiple audiences Beyond the project's own community, including the media and general public. Multiplier effect.
Enabling the take-up and use of results Informing and engaging with society, to show how it can benefit from research
