INTERNATIONAL NETWORK FOR ENERGY HEALING

This Network, whose keynote is World Service, is non-sectarian, non-political and international in its thinking. It recognises Life as the primary source of power. We can channel this energy for healing and when this takes place Spirit, Soul and Body integrate to become whole.

Aims • To facilitate Esoteric Healing • To help anchor spiritual science in the human Consciousness • To assist the Plan of the Spiritual Hierarchy for Humanity. • To encourage group work on inner and outer levels. • To recognise the need for ongoing self-healing and growth. • To link up and work with practitioners in the various medical and healing arts and sciences acknowledging the value of diversity. • To share the understanding of esoteric anatomy and the esoteric causes and prevention of disease. • To provide seminars and practical training in the principles of Esoteric Healing in the Subtle Energy Field and its integration into everyday life. • To develop an International Network of Healers, Teachers and Servers to support each other and further the above Aims.

1The Journal of the INEH

I notice that this is the beginning of Volume 30 of our Journal and I am about to celebrate becoming an old crone of 70 so must have started editing when I was 40. As I remember, we were at an IHRN {International Health Research Network} group meeting when Netta Wells had the inspiration to begin a Journal to share our ideas from around the globe and she proposed that Derek and I produce this. It was known then as Nettaworking!

We began typing contributions into our BBC school computer and physically cutting and pasting the bits to get a layout. We then photocopied the result and posted it out in 1986. Alan Hopking, who was studying locally then, also helped with the computing and layout and Susie Bell designed our first cover, which we used for 20 years. It symbolised our vertical alignment and horizontal outreach, which is still fundamentally what our healing work is about, balancing the esoteric and exoteric dimensions of life. We have, in this Journal, an article by Steve Kramer on The Aquarian Round table – our outward growing group relations and two about vertical alignment. One is by Rene Fugere and the other, a different perspective on similar ideas, by Helen Frankland.

Our original intention for the Journal was that it should be ‘a means of sharing, strengthening and anchoring the work of our group – an information channel and focus of attention for the research aspects of our Network.’

We bring this history up as we seem to sense some energy circulating in our group asking to acknowledge our past. At our last teachers’ gathering in Boston we were remembering

Editorialhow many of our teachers have passed and how much we owe to them. One of the ideas for our Teachers’ Conference this year emerged as ‘Building On Our Heritage’, to which we added ‘Evolving The Magical Work Of The Soul’, to emphasise the forward, pioneering movement of our work together. The heritage idea was linked with the rich history and the ancient landscape of the Derbyshire area where we will be meeting. There is an importance to listening to our environ-ment as well as empathetically to one another as expressed in articles by Wendy Glaubitz and Sophie Northolt.

Again we are balancing the inner and the outer – the esoteric and exoteric. Michael Cowlin, one of our early teachers no longer with us, wrote an article in the first Journal, which we have reproduced. Friend of Brenda Johnston, a scientist by profession and member of Subud by belief, he was responsible for drawing our very first diagrams and many are still in circulation. His article offers a view of the etheric and how it relates to the environment. We can see how issues remain the same but the expression has a sense of its own time.

You will see in our quote from Discipleship in the New Age, My Garden, how detailed is the description of direction and place. We have a contribution on the elements and directions by Sheila Robey from our last UK Conference and a little about one of our teacher’s gardens. It feels as if it is important to achieve good balance here, inward and outward, to allow for the reception, reserve and flow of prana for the Earth and for our inner selves.

How does your garden grow? How does our garden grow?

You who fear the end, turn to all four directions and say, Let us realize Infinity! The summitsand the recesses of Earth are your sources. Limitless are the currents of these sources.

If people would only know how to gather the eternally flowing currents of Infinity, then verily the laboratory of life would be realized.

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the Mind of GodLet Light stream forth into the minds of men,

Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the heart of GodLet Love stream forth into the hearts of men,

May Christ return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is knownLet purpose guide the little wills of men –

The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of menLet the Plan of Love and Light work out

And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.
