Executive Summary
Aspire Schools: Vincent Shalvey Academy, River Oaks Charter School, and Benjamin Holt College Preparatory Academy had a range of API scores from 886 – 927 in 2010.
University Public School was renamed Aspire Vincent Shalvey Academy in honor of Don Shalvey’s father, Vincent, a parent who sacrificed so his child could go to college.
Schools continue to focus on building increasing rigor through attention to academic discourse, rigorous lesson planning, and higher order questioning.
Parent and teacher satisfaction remain very high.
Aspire continues to value the partnership with Lodi Unified School District!
