Importance of Water Resources97% of water on earth is salt

water. Only three percent is fresh water - Slightly

over two-third in the form of frozen glacier while unfrozen water

is mainly found as ground water.

Conservation of Water resources(Some handy tips)

• While washing utensils, use less water.• Use ‘used’ water for washing cars.

• Make wells for collecting rainwater. It is called ‘rain water harvesting’.

• Ask papa to ‘off’ the tap while brushing for shave.
