Locate the Root Asset (top Asset of the Tree)

Right mouse click directly on the Root Asset and select Add Asset Locationhellip

Fill in the required details for the Asset (highlighted in blue)

bull Enter PPP04TEST_YOURINITIALS for the Asset ID

bull Enter PPP04Test_YourName for the Asset Name

Save the Asset

Navigate to PM ID PPP04TEST in the Preventive Maint Explorer

Select the PM to open it in the Work Center

Navigate to the Assets Tab

Add Asset to Schedule Hands-On (contrsquod)

Click the Addhellip button in the Action Header Bar

Add your newly created Test Asset

Review Asset generation details

Click Apply Close

Save the PM

Asset will be added to Schedule

Fill in the required details for the Asset (highlighted in blue)

bull Enter PPP04TEST_YOURINITIALS for the Asset ID

bull Enter PPP04Test_YourName for the Asset Name

Save the Asset

Add Asset to Schedule Hands-On (contrsquod)

Navigate to PM ID PPP04TEST in the Preventive Maint Explorer

Select the PM to open it in the Work Center

Navigate to the Assets Tab

Add Asset to Schedule Hands-On (contrsquod)

Click the Addhellip button in the Action Header Bar

Add your newly created Test Asset

Add Asset to Schedule Hands-On (contrsquod)

Review Asset generation details

Click Apply Close

Save the PM

Asset will be added to Schedule

Add Asset to Schedule Hands-On (contrsquod)

You have now successfully completed creating a test Asset and adding it to an existing PM Schedule
