2011_PFC:

La guerra del tiempo.Intervention at Elda’s Castle.

Professor: Enrique Nieto

Elda’s castle has been a ruin for centuries.A new structure is built iIn order to configure the ruin as a public space. In this way events can take place in the castle while the ruin is still under study.

The intervention dialogues with the cityand with nature. It creates newpossibilities of use for the castle as well as a new atmosphere in the courtyard. It can all be dismantled if so is required.

2008_COMPETITION. Mention:

torn.Marjal Group Competition forsusteinable housing.

Exploring the possibilities ofgeometric patterns in thedevelopment of low densityhousing. We included passiveheating and water reuse systems.

2008_Truncado:

Competition for ASCER.Design of a ceramic piece. It can be used as a façade providing solar protection. It can also be combined tomake benches and other urbanelements.

2007_House of the future:After studying the Smithson’s House of the future, my proposall was an inmaterial self-suficient house which was smaller and rethought.

2007_High density housing:The spanish coast has a high densityof constructions. Many of these are nonsense, kitsch, massive. We made the effort of keeping this high densityof construction while architecturelooked to geometry anddeconstruction.

2006_Collegio di Maria. Altofonte:Study of the stability and project forrestoration the façade of Altofonte’s collegio di Maria near Palermo. The project was developed in the laboratorio del restauro of University of Palermo.

2006_Spazio culturale e delleimmagini:Under a highway, over a road, usingthe potential of the infrastructures, weset a new cultural use. Its form is justa gesture to roll down the hill to theriver while the building hugs thehighway.
