WELCOME: A sincere welcome is extended to every one who
comes here today in Spirit and in Truth. In this day when we
remember the death and the suffering of our Lord on Calvary,
it is our desire that with consciences washed in the blood of the
Lamb, our worship may be acceptable to Him. Please join us
after this morning’s service for refreshments and fellowship in
our Fellowship Hall.
Children aged 3-5 meet your teacher in the foyer during the
offering this morning for Children’s Church.
Adult Bible Study will meet today after the evening service at
around 6:30 PM in the Family Room. We will continue to
“Discover Philippians” Lesson 5: “Pressing on Toward the
Goal.”
ABOUT OUR MESSAGES
We resume our series through the book of Acts, “King on a
Mission.” Each year, hoards of people are drawn to the
experience of places like Magic Kingdom and Disneyworld,
“The Happiest Place on Earth.” Though those places are tied
to fairy tales and not reality, history shows what happens when
the Kingdom of God meets the kingdom of magic in Acts 8:1-25:
God is truly establishing “The Most Joyful Place on Earth.”
This evening, our study of marriage moves to the question of
problems: how do we navigate the problems that arise in
relationships? Too often, we avoid dealing with them, we learn
to live with them, and they accumulate like dirty dishes in a
kitchen sink. James 4:1-10 will give us a way to walk
forward “Solving Problems in Marriage.”
PRAYERS AND PRAISES
A Century of Blessings: We rejoice along with the family of
our sister Harriet Sprik, who celebrated her 100th Birthday this
past Friday, February 2! We praise God for the life He has
given Harriet, and again remember “His compassions never fail,
they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
