CD4 In Action

On March 23rd activist from all over CD4 gathered in Gold Canyon. Over 200 showed up and marched to Representative Gosar's District office. People came from every corner of CD4, Kingman, Prescott (they rented a bus), Florence, San Tan Valley, Apache Junction and even from cities not in the district. We even had a few from Virginia and VA7 (Rep. Brat's district who was a guest of Gosar).

The reason for the march was the cancelation of a town hall by Rep. Gosar/Brat. Originally planned as an in-person event, once hills office determined the turnout to be to large for the venue selected he switched to a tele-town hall. They didn't even try to find a larger venue especially when his office was informed there would be lots of interest.

This event was organized through the Indivisible Action Network and efforts will continue.

Post Cards to the White House There is a national effort to get one million post cards delivered to the White House to show President Trump the level of disappointment with his administration. Everyone is being asked to address and put a "thoughtful" note on a post card and put it into the mail on March 15th. This effort is to help give the Trump administration a visual representation of those of us who disagree with his policies and conduct as our President.

Let's show him how much we care...

State Legislature is Still in Session

There is still lots of activities going on in Phoenix and the state legislature. There have been a few successes as we have put pressure on our elected representatives to stop or change bills working their way through the process.

It's still important to call, email or go to the Capitol and make your voice heard.

• Write letters to the editor on issues making their way through the process.

• When we send out alerts on specific pieces of legislation contact your representatives to let them know how you feel. Calling is best. It matters!

• Attend rallies, events and Town Halls to express yourself.

• Get involved with a local club to gather with like-minded Democrats.
