Wildlife photographer captures Kalahari's dark side Wildlife photographer Hannes Lochner spent 750 days in the harsh surroundings of the Kalahari desert to chronicle the lives of wildlife at night. He covered around 100,000km during his time at Kgalagadi national park in South Africa, capturing stunning images of leopards, lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, brown hyenas and jackals.
