HOW TO OPEN A PAYSERA ACCOUNT
Paysera account can be opened in 2 ways:
✓ First, online on www.paysera.com website.
✓ Second, by downloading the application on the mobile device.
OPENING AN ACCOUNT
✓ Paysera account is free of charge.
✓ Data entered in the "Open an account” window should be valid, as it will be used for person identification and protection of the account.
✓ The user receives an email with the activation link during the registration.
✓ The user confirms the registration by clicking on the link. Once it is confirmed, the account will be activated.
✓ Creation of Paysera account does not require to sign any paper agreements, nor it requires to come to a branch. It is all done online.
✓ The General Payment Service Agreement and information on the Privacy Policy are provided electronically.
✓ The service agreement is open-ended and enters into force after registering in the system, getting acquainted with the terms and conditions, and expressing the will to comply with them electronically.
OPENING A PAYSERA ACOUNT ON A MOBILE DEVICE
The registration can be performed on a mobile device after downloading the application.
✓ The user needs to indicate only contact details, create a password and a PIN code.
✓ The user name (email address or telephone number) and the password will be used when logging in to the application for the first time, as well as when logging in to the Paysera account online.
✓ The PIN code will be used each time when opening the Paysera application.
✓ If the mobile device has a fingerprint scanner, the fingerprint can be used instead of PIN code.

APPLICATION MANAGEMENT
The main menu button in Paysera application is marked with the icon “S”.
By clicking on it, the main features of the application are provided.
Account balance and the list of statements are displayed on the home screen.
PROFILE SETTINGS
By entering into “My Profile” window, the user can change his/her profile picture. The image can be taken instantly by the mobile device or chosen from the gallery.
The image is used as a profile picture and is displayed to the friends of the user in their contact book.
Account details can only be changed online at www.paysera.com
ADDING A PAYMENT CARD
For the convenience of the user, Paysera application can be topped up from a payment card when paying for goods or services, in case the account balance is not sufficient.
This service can be enabled by the user simply adding either credit or debit card details in the "New card" section.
The card should be suitable for online payments.
The user has to enter only the card details.

✓ After linking a card, the user will be able to check out with it at Paysera and partner sites or locations.
✓ The account will be automatically topped up with required amount of money to complete the transaction.
PRIVACY AND NOTIFICATIONS
Application settings allow to select a privacy level for incoming notifications.
If the low privacy level is chosen, incoming notification messages can include more detailed information about the sender (statement details and amount).
If the high privacy level is chosen, only basic information about the transaction is provided in the message.
SECURITY SETTINGS
Security settings provide the possibility to change the password
and PIN code.
Contact data and the password are also provided during the registration and used when opening the application for the first time, as well as opening it after the complete application log out.
User name and password are the same as when logging into the Paysera account online.
During the registration the user provides a 5-character PIN code, which is entered each time when opening the application on the phone.
SECURITY SETTINGS
Paysera application is currently available in Lithuanian, English, Russian, Polish, and Latvian languages.
The language can be easily changed in the language settings.

LANGUAGE SETTINGS
Paysera system allows the user to freely change the daily, weekly and monthly transfer limits.
It can be performed only after the identification of the person. With the help of the application, a photo of the user's face is taken and a copy of a personal document is uploaded.
LIMITS AND IDENTIFICATION
All Paysera clients are divided into identified and unidentified. There are 4 levels of limits.
Once the user opens an account, the first-level limits are applied and the user is considered as unidentified until s/he performs personal identification. Transfers for the amount of 30 EUR/day; 2500 EUR/year (100 EUR/day payment for goods or services) are allowed.
In order to raise the limits, the user has to provide further information, such as a photo of him/herself and a copy of his/her ID.

PAYMENTS FOR GOODS AND
SERVICES WITH A PHONE
Points of sales with the possibility to pay via phone are labeled with special stickers.
The points of sales can be found on the map in Paysera application.
The map can be found on the home screen by clicking on the button “Places”:

When paying with Paysera at partner shops, discounts are frequently applied.
When shopping online, up to 1% of the purchase is returned to the buyer.

PAYMENTS IN RESTAURANTS
In order to pay via phone, the user scans the QR code of the seller with the help of Paysera application.
When paying in the restaurants or cafe, QR codes are placed on tables and the client can pay without waiting for the waiter.
There is no need to waste time calculating cash, waiting for the receipt and change any more.
After filling petrol at a gas station, the client scans the QR
code on the petrol pump. This way, the client saves money,
as he does not need to pay at the cash desk and wait with
other customers in line.
PAYMENTS AT GAS STATIONS
When buying online at Paysera partner sites, the checkout
procedure can be implemented by generating a QR code as
well. This way, the client can make the payment easier and
faster then via bank link.

After scanning the QR code, detailed information about the seller and purchased goods is displayed on the screen of the phone.
Paysera allows for constant control of the balance on the account. This way, it is always clear whether the balance is sufficient for the payment.

The main MENU button “Pay a contact” leads to the user's contact book.
Paysera application is synchronized with the telephone address book, thus money can be sent to a contact in a few seconds.
Paysera users are marked with a special letter , but money can be sent to any other contact too.

PAYMENTS VIA PHONE
The user selects the recipient from the list of contacts. If the person is not in the address book, the user can indicate the phone number or email address of the recipient.
The user indicates the amount and purpose of the payment. The operation is confirmed with a touch of a button.
Money are transferred in real time. Both the sender and the recipient are informed about the successful operation.
Money transfers can also be performed to the user who is not in the contact list. For this purpose, the feature "Users nearby" is used.
According to the location, people nearest to the user are displayed at the top of the list.
This function can be of a great use when paying to an unknown person, in order to pay faster without making mistakes entering the telephone number/email address, or if when the recipient does not remember his/her contact details.
*According to statistics, 1/20 does not remember his/her telephone number.
MONEY TRANSFERS
MONEY TRANSFERS
If the recipient is not a Paysera user, money can be transferred by indicating only the telephone number or email address.
When sending money to the recipient this way, s/he will receive an SMS informing about the money transfer.
The recipient will also receive the link with the explanation on how to download Payseara application in order to receive the money.
The same procedure applies when transferring money by email address.
If the recipient does not follow the instructions and does not open an account within a month, the money is returned to the sender.
MONEY REQUEST
If the client is in a situation, when a friend owes him/her money or s/he suddenly needs to replenish the account, the „Request Money“ feature can be found on the home screen.
The procedure is the same as when paying to the contact. The only difference is that here the recipient has to accept the money request.
Money Requests require approval from the payer each time.
Paysera account can be replenished by another person as well, when the client sends him/her a request.

CASH-IN
Paysera provides a possibility to cash in at partner points of
sale and service provision. The partner points are displayed
on the list or map in the application. Money is added by
generating a QR code and providing it to the partner.

The client can also cash in at special Paysera terminals.

Transfers can be protected with a password. The sender has a possibility to lock a transfer with a password. The transfer is performed and money is finally credited to the account of the recipient only after s/he enters the password of the transfer created by the sender.
This function is being used mostly when:
Sending money to an unknown recipient;
The sender is not sure whether the contact details are correct;
Online sellers use this function as an alternative for „cash on delivery“ payment method.

CURRENCY CONVERSION
Currency exchange 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the best rates available on the international exchange market.
Money on Paysera account can be held in different currencies.
Currency conversion can be performed easily by opening the "currency exchange" window in the main menu bar. The drop down boxes allow to choose what currency to sell and buy from the following list.
Currencies currently available in Paysera:
EUR, PLN, GBP, NOK, SEK, DKK, BGN, RON, USD, RUB, CHF, HUF, JPY, BYR, CZK, CAD, AUD, GEL, TRY.
