outdoor library, pocket publication edition

Outdoor Library is a mobile outdoor library containing documentation of art activities at national and international level. It is a project in constant change. The library was first shown at Pineapple @ European Social Forum, 2008 and move since then between different locations. 2011 Outdoor Library participated in the exhibition Radical Art Practices at Gallery 21 in Malmö. Outdoor Library contains documentations of urban public places, their availability and expansion. Documentations are intended to assist discussion of the common use of public spaces. Besides being a library Outdoor Library is now also a combined reading spot and herb garden where you can easily pick herbs for your soup. Outdoor Library uses mobile removable elements created with an experimental playfulness. An outdoor library moving through urban space which looks for free dialogues between us humans.
