Children ages 6-12 are invited to enter the Outdoor Education Summer Camp Scholarship Contest, sponsored by the Outdoor Education Community Recreation Council (CRC). If you received this scholarship within the last 12 months, you are not eligible for the 2018 summer camp season. One winner per household.

The Essay

In 500 words or less, answer the question: “Why I want to go to Outdoor Education Camp.” Entries must include name, age and parent/guardian contact information. Entries must also include a drawing or photo of you engaged in your favorite outdoor activity.

The Prize

The Outdoor Education CRC will provide a scholarship for one week of camp for up to ten campers. Each of the ten selected winners will be awarded a scholarship (worth up to $156) to attend one full week of summer camp at either Indian Village Day Camp, Camp Terra, or Camp Walnut between June 11 and August 17, 2018. Winners will be pre-registered into the camp of their choice on March 13, 2018. Once the winner is registered, no refunds, transfers, or exchanges, will be made for any reason.
