OUR WINNING BANK HOLIDAY PICTURE
RUNNERS UP
Many thanks to
all who came along and joined in the fun
on 28th august
NEW MEMBERS - OPEN EVENING On 14th and 21st October at 7.30pm we are holding Open Evenings for members and
guests. This is a chance for new members to fast-track the membership process and
get nearly 15 month’s membership for the price of 12. The Club welcomes applicants
for membership so if you have friends who you believe would make good members why
not encourage them to join come along.
An application form is attached to the on-line version of the Magazine and you are
welcome to print this and bring it to the Club. You can also download a copy from our
website at corbyconservativeclub.net. Printed copies are also available at the bar.
Dear Members,
It was great to see so many members and friends coming along to the Club for the August Bank Holiday Trailer Gig. Once again we were so lucky with the weather. When Corby was under a deluge only the day before we did wonder if the weather would be kind to us. Thankfully it was and we all enjoyed another great event.
We have proved we can do these big functions and members have responded by coming along in force. All we have to do now is persuade everyone to come along on ordinary days at the Club.
Our recent Saturday night gig in the Games Room was another great success and I would like to thank ‘ONE NIGHT ONLY’ for a super evening. And many thanks to all those members who came along and supported us. These evenings are definitely popular and we have lots more planned for the future.
The Committee and the Staff are working hard to build up our following, and our excellent restaurant staff, ably led by Darren, are doing their bit as well. Indeed, there is no doubt that our restaurant is gaining a very good reputation in Corby and many postings on the internet will testify to this.
Speaking of the internet, can I ask you all to regularly check our website at
www.corbyconservativeclub.net to see what is happening at the Club.
The website is regularly updated with latest news of sport and other entertainment. You can download membership forms and menus and even a copy of this magazine directly from our webpages.
And we send out regular updates to members and friends via email so please let us have your email address so we can add you to our mailing list.
We also post regular news on Facebook so don’t forget to look there for more Club news.
Sincerely
Neil Butler
P.S. Don’t go to the old webpage at corbyconservativeclub.co.uk as updates to that site have been discontinued.

We need your email
address to keep in touch
In this electronic age the main
form of communication now is
electronically. We have been
collecting email addresses for
many years but there are still
many members who aren’t on
our network.
Please let us have your email
address so we can let you
know what is going on at the
Club.
Post (or snail-mail) is so cost
prohibitive and slow now that it
can almost be forgotten but
email is instant.
If you let us have your email
address we promise that it will
not be revealed to anyone else
and it will only be used to keep
you advised of Club news. You
can cancel at any time.
And please let us know the day
and month of your birthday
(not year). Regulars will then
get a treat near their birthday.
Email your details to
conclub2010@gmail.com to
ensure that you get the
latest news from the Club.

SUPPORT YOUR CLUB
Would any members of the Club who have
their own business like to support us with a
little financial help? We have done a very
good deal with our local printers (Contract
Printers) but would like to offset the small
publishing cost by including some adverts
from members. If you are interested please
let the manager, Mona Brown, know at
conclub2010@gmail.com. We are not
talking big money here, just a small
contribution which will help enormously. We
will still publish small ads from members for
free.
Your Club is here for you but we do need your
support.
