Introduction

The Proto NEST is a general purpose prototype board. It is an

expansion board for Flyport Wi-Fi and Flyport Ethernet modu-les. All the signals of Flyport modules are router in the nearby

of a 50 x 50 mm throu-hole double sided prototype area.

The firmware download can be done with the use of miniUSB

PROGRAMMER.

It is also possible to use the Flyport Ethernet without RJ45 con-

nector: the RJ45 connector can be placed on the Lighting NEST on J4.

The power supply can be provided with an external 5 V sour-

ce, or by ethernet cable on pins 4-5 and 7-8 (6 V MAX).

The Proto NEST fits inside the NEST Box (HAMMOND 1593XBK plastic enclosure box).

2*13 ways 2.54mm Male Pin header con-

nectors, for the Flyport Wi-Fi and Flyport

Ethernet insertion.

Optional RJ45 Ethernet connector can be

used with Flyport Ethernet with no RJ45

onboard mounted connector.
