He loved the way the sunlightdanced on the waves.

He loved everything about the sea - and every thing that shared it with him.

“Hello, Crab.”

“Hello, Octopus.”

“Hello, Rock,” called Ollie.

Rock did not answer. He never did.But that was fine with OllieBecause Rock was dependable. He was always in the same placewhen Ollie came looking for him.

Rock had a sturdy ledge - With a space underneath just the right size for Ollie.Ollie loved that space. It was the perfect place to take a nap.

9

Ollie slipped under the ledge. He looked out at his ocean world. It was calm.It was peaceful. It was beautiful.

10

It was the perfect place to liveThen . . . BUMP . . . a big brown Thing landed in the sand right in front of Ollie’s face!

Ollie looked where Logger was looking.Something white dangled in the water above them.

It sort of looked like a jellyfish. It sort of moved like a jellyfish.

But something about it made Olliethink it was not a jellyfish.Logger started to swim towards it.

“Jel-ly, jel-ly, jel-ly,” he chanted.

“Wait!” called Ollie. “I don’t think . . .”
