Miami University Academic Grants and Contracts SUMMARY
EXTERNAL GRANTS & LICENSE FEES/ROYALTIES
During the fiscal year July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011 (FY11) Miami University received 267 awards. Total support from external sources was $23,335,186, which included $23,205,131 for projects initiated by University faculty and staff, and $130,055 received as license fees and royalties. In addition, $1,622,904 was received for student financial aid (not included in the total below). This external funding provides increased opportunities for faculty, students and staff to engage in inquiry and the creation of knowledge. The FY11 academic grants and contracts are detailed below by type of funding source and purpose.
