•Type in your lunch number when we ask for it and place books upside down.

Online Catalogs•3 Computers you can use to access the

“researcher” which is our online catalog system for searching for books.

•You can do a title, author, or subject search.

•Make sure the book is available, write the call number down, and go find the book.

•You can use the “researcher” at home through the library’s website as well

What do we do??

•Book Talks to encourage reading, develop a love for reading, introduce students to new books, author, genres•Teach Library Skills•Teach Information Literacy Skills•Curriculum Tie-Ins with objectives being taught in the classroom•Common Sense Media

3rd Grade: Meets each week for a 15-20 min. lesson then 10 min.

4th & 5th: Check outs every other week. One week 30 min. lesson with no check out. Next week 15 min. lesson with 15 min. checkout.
