Alterations (see below) SIGNIFICANCE Dr. Ford deeded the t r ^ t to his daughter Josepha as a wedding present i n 1885; property changed hands several times u n t i l acquired by present owner i n 1956; house may have had stronger Eastlake appearance when b u i l t and was updated with Colonial Revival d e t a i l i n g at turn of the century; present siding apparently wider than o r i g i n a l but does not affect i n t e g r i t y s i g n i f i c a n t l y . A r c h i t e c t u r a l l y noteworthly i n r e f l e c t i n g two d i s t i n c t a r c h i t e c t u r a l styles.
