Model United Nations (Model

UN or MUN) is a conference

simulation of United Nations in

which students participate

as delegates to various UN

Committees. Participants

research and

formulate political positions

based on the actual countries.

What is MUN?

In order to maintain decorum, MUN

committees have Rules Of Procedure.

Each committee has Chair/Moderator.

Reaching the number of quorum is required

(1/3 of member countries present) to start the

session.

The Committee Sessions runs on a

particular agenda/topic area. Before the

conference, delegates were given a Study

Guide to help them doing their research.

MUN also offers AWARDS: BEST DELEGATE, OUTSTANDING DELEGATE,

HONORABLE MENTION, BEST POSITION PAPER

In 2011, Law Faculty of UNDIP held the first session of DiponegoroMUN.

Followed by ALSA LC UNDIP in the same year by conducting their first ALSAMUN.

MUN in UNdip

The first UNDIP MUN delegation was UNDIP Delegates for HNMUN 2010. After that, UNDIP continuing to send delegates to various MUNs worldwide. The biggest MUN delegation of UNDIP is now UNDIP Delegates for LIMUN, established in 2011.
