What is the mood of this picture?

As you can see mood can be easily recognized using a visual image such as a picture.

Now, I will assign you a mood, and I would like for you to quickly sketch a “thumbnail” drawing of that mood. A “thumbnail” is a small drawing.

Ex: Happiness

What mood do I have? If you are #1-5, you will draw excitement. If you are #6-10, you will draw sorrow. If you are #11-15, you will draw surprise. If you are #16-20, you will draw disgust. If you are #21-25, you will draw fear. Do not share with your neighbors; we will have a

share time afterwards. You have 5 minutes to draw your thumbnail of your

mood.

Assignment: For homework, you may choose the mood of

your choice, and draw a full- sized picture representing that mood. This should be a picture with more detail than your “thumbnail” drawings. You should color it as well.
