Application areasmikrozid® PAA wipes are the ideal disinfection wipes for areaswith a particularly high pathogen transmission risk becauseof their broad spectrum of efficacy and the rapidity withwhich they take effect. Examples include isolation rooms,operating theatres, intensive care units and the non-sterileside of the CSSD/ endoscopy or neonatology departments.The wipes are appropriate for disinfection of medical devicesand other surfaces of all types. The prime areas of use aresurfaces in close proximity to patients and surfaces withfrequent hand or skin contact. Due to the efficacy and thematerial compatibility mikrozid® PAA wipes are suitablefor the reprocessing of medical devices without canal: Forexample:• TOE probes*• Nasopharyngoscope (ENT)• ultrasound probes*The spectrum of sporicidal action of mikrozid® PAA wipesmeans they can play a central role in breaking infectionchains and in prophylaxis against infectious agents such asClostridium difficile.

Special adviceUse disinfectants safely. Always read the label and productinformation before use.The wiping range depends on the room temperature and onthe structure of the surface to be disinfected (max. 3,5 m² insurface disinfection). Do not use on non-ferrous metal and donot mix with any detergent. More information available onrequest.Instruction for use:Wearing gloves (e.g. of nitrile rubber) is necessary. Thoroughlywipe the surface with the impregnated cloth and allow totake effect. Make sure to wet surfaces completely and keepthem wet for the whole exposure time. Make sure that allvisible dirt is removed prior to disinfection. When opening andinserting the first cloth, make sure that hygiene requirementsare maintained. Make sure to close the lid tightly after use.If necessary, use several wipes for large areas. Do not use onnon-ferrous metal and do not mix with any detergent. schülkeguarantees a shelf life of 28 days after the package has beenopened, if all instructions given by schülke are followed.
