INTEGRAL YOUTH POLICY

• Castellón works based on a model whose premises and principles are:

The Youth Department, together with other areas in the City Council, work for the youth in a cross way within different fields:

– INFORMATION AND ADVISING– TRAINING– EMPLOYMENT– HOUSING– HEALTH– YOUTH CULTURE AND ENTERTAINMENT– ACCESS, MOBILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY– YOUTH INVOLVEMENT AND PARTICIPATION

INFORMATION AND ADVISINGNecessary aspects for the support of the youth on their

maturing process. Consolidation of a free youth advising services network. Currently, 5 services:

1. Affectivity and sexuality 2. Eating disorders

3. Studies 4. Self-employment 5. Legal issues

YOUTH PARTICIPATION

New way to work promoting youth active participation in a city project.

According to their needs and tastes through: - Web page: sending ideas and voting them. - Social networks: communication. USING THEIR OWN CODE AND COMMUNICATION TOOLS IS THE BEST

To be more active in the youth field and improve the youth situation in our city.
