Team Meeting :: 06.06.15

What is our purpose?

Center Kids desires to teach children to love God, love people and live their faith

out loud. We want to

engage (connect with fun), encourage (teach the bible) and

eradicate (equip to serve)

each kid, each week.

Team Member Responsibilities Sunday Commitment :: Each team member meets at 9:45, for devotional, announcements, and to pray as a team. Everyone will be at their classroom/posts by 10am. Planning Center :: Please keep your Planning Center profile up-to-date to ensure we have all of your updated information. When you receive/see an email from Planning Center, please respond right away so we can plan accordingly. Schedules will also be posted on Facebook and sent via e-mail so they can be previewed and confirmed before the upcoming month. Absence :: We understand that sometimes you may need to miss your scheduled Sunday(s). It is your responsibility to find yourself a replacement using either the team Facebook group, or the contact sheet. In case of an emergency or you are unable to attend last minute, please call/text your Director.

Team Member Responsibilities

Use the Curriculum provided :: Much prayer and consideration has gone into the curriculum we have chosen for each class, we ask that you stick to the Biblically based curriculum you have been given. Remember the basis of everything we teach is from the Bible, if your opinion differs from the Bible please keep that to yourself. If a child asks you a question from the Bible that you don’t know, let them know that you will try to find out the answer and get back to them. If you have questions or concerns please speak with the Director.

What you’re Doing Matters!

Half of all Americans who accept Jesus as their savior do so before reaching the age of 13 (43%)

Two out of three born again Christians (64%) made that commitment to Christ before their 18th birthday

There is a ten year window of opportunity, between the ages of 4 and 14, that a person is most open to The Gospel of Jesus Christ

The “ABC” Method

Admit that you are a sinner.

Explain what that means and what sin is. Believe that Jesus is God’s son who came to earth to make a way for us to be forgiven of our sin.

Explain what that means and ask if they understand what Jesus did.

Confess that you want to receive this forgiveness and commit your life to becoming a follower of Jesus.

Explain what that means and give examples of what that looks like.

Staff & Child Protection Policy

Injury :: Usually an injury can be treated with a little tender loving care, a cool cloth and a band-aid. Parents are to be notified by the Director, and an Incident Report must be filled out for all injuries or incidents. These can be found in your classroom binder along with a first-aid kit.
