Master of Science (M.S.) in PetrophysicsProgram Description

The program addresses properties of subsurface rock formations and the �uids withinthose strata with particular application to the petroleum exploration and productionindustry. The coursework including graduate research project is a multidisciplinaryprogram with Geology, Physics, and Natural Gas Engineering courses.

Admission requirements -Bachelor’s degree in any area of science (Geoscience, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry)is required for admission in to the program. Students not having enough backgroundmay need to take additional undergraduate courses.-Please consult the TAMUK Graduate Catalog on-line at: http://www.tamuk.edu/grad/

Degree requirements -Complete 36 graduate credit hours which includes up to three hours of research culminatingin a graduate research project.
