To Get our Message Across!

Inspired by artist Saul Steinberg

What emotion is expressed in this photograph? How do you know what is being expressed? What are the clues?

What stories can you tell about what is happening?

Our creative process:

Students were asked: What issues are UP for you at school? What makes you sad, angry or frustrated? What would you like to be different?

Form groups. Create a slogan that creatively expresses your issue in a POSITIVE way!

Create your MASKS using black and white in high CONTRAST. What facial expressions will communicate your message?

We played charades to practice expressing emotions through body language.
