4. INFORMATION ON THE CONTENTS AND RESULTS GAINEDfull-timeThe curriculum comprises the base module for social sciences (24ECTS), trase module in the speciality of government and politics (24ECTS), narrow field module of government and politics (2,1 ECTS), andspeciality modules in public administration, comparative politicalscience, international relations or political philosophy (24 ECTS).Students can select elective subjects (12 ECTS), one narrow lield module(24 ECTS), one speciality module (24 ECTS) and optional subjects (18ECTS). The programme terminates with the defence of bachelor's thesis(5 ECTS).
Learning outcomes:After completing the curriculum the student:I .has acquired general knorvledge and skills ol social science.2.is able to critically analyze and use dilferent theories ofpolitical science.3.can judge the appropriateness and apply different methods ofpolitical science.4.can use the theoretical approaches ofpolitical science to analyze real life political phenomenon and institutions.S.understands the inner r,r'orkings of the political system and the role of parties and elections in a democratic society.6.understands public administration, comparative politics and international relations to a degree enabling debating andproposing solutions to the problems in these areas.7.has acquired the knou4edge necessary to proceed to study for a master degree in public administration, comparative politicsor international relations.8. has acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to rvork in public administration or third sector positions that requirespecitic knowledge of societal and political issues.
