75th Anniversary Prayer of Diocese of Evansville
Almighty, ever-living God, in your goodness, you sent your only
Son to bring salvation to all people through your Church.
For seventy-five years, your sons and daughters in the Diocese of
Evansville have strived to live as a community of faith, hope and
charity, rooted in Christ.
Pour forth your Holy Spirit on this local Church, that we may
continue the saving work of Jesus Christ through Word,
Sacrament, and Service.
May everything we do, both now and in the years to come, be for
your glory and for the sanctification of all.
We ask this through your Son, Jesus Christ, who is Lord
yesterday, today and forever. Amen
Holy Mary, Mother of God - Pray for us.

January 8, 2020
There have been several questions regarding influenza season and any actions that need to be taken regarding the potential for spreading the disease at Mass. Here is our current position as well as some suggestions/best practices:
If you are feeling ill, you should not receive from the
chalice, or even stay home to avoid spreading disease.
If you are uncomfortable or concerned about the spread
of disease, you do not have to receive from the chalice, nor should you feel obligated to shake hands at the “Sign of Peace”.
Stay home if you are sick
