MALBORK ON THE MAP

*Teutonic castle in Malbork is a tripartite fortess in a gothic style. It consits of low castle, medium castle and high castle. It is one of the biggest remained castles in gothic architecture in the world. From 14th

September 1309 to 1457 the castle in Malbork was a residence of the Great Teutonic Master and the city was a capital of Monastic State.

*Malbork was announced a capital of Teutonic Country on 14th September 1309. The castle in Malbork was rebuilt many times. Through the years the castle has changed its function too. From monastery, through residence, presidio to a museum.

* The castle has been the World Heritage site since 1997 r.
