The Basics – know your church
Good maintenance can prevent long-term decline of the fabric which can lead to large one-off bills. Grants for these are hard to get.
There are now several ways a PCC can arrange for cost-effective maintenance to be done on the church.
Reliable data is key to achieving this; how do you get it?
Diocesan Strategic Reviews of Church Buildings for Mission
Finding the right role and management model for each church: Parish Church, Chapel-of-Ease, Festival Church, Major Church, Resourcing Church?
All working together within Deanery Plans, maximising the available resources
Engaging the wider community for mission and for support
