the luCaS frank Story.Lucas Frank the boy was born in 2009. Lucas Frank the brand was born in 2011.

It all happened over a cup of Yorkshire Tea on a cold Sunday afternoon in November. Linden, Lucas’s dad was chatting with Stuart, a young grandad friend of his about how difficult it was to find good, premium quality clothes for his son. Now as it happened, Stuart had life long experience in men’s casual clothing, and suggested creating the kind of clothes they were looking for themselves. Timeless designs that were well made, with a high level of detail, and priced just right. And the rest, as they say, is soon to be history…

Lucas had been the inspiration for the idea. So it was only fitting that the brand was named after him. As the name Lucas is derived from the Greek name for ‘light’, a lighthouse was chosen as the logo. This seemed rather apt as just like the lighthouse, Lucas Frank is all about creating a brand that people will notice, and know where and what we stand for.
