Satisfactory
Air Sampling Results We recommend the return air be monitored to ensure that it is not above the set limits for the contaminants.
Tests Undertaken Visual, Smoke Test, Static Pressure Test, Velocity Measurements
Defects AFFECTING the level of control
None.Defects NOT affecting the level of control
Contaminant dust is present on the clean side of the filter housing. Investigation as to the cause should be carried out and the dusts cleaned away in order to prevent them being exhausted back to the workplace. Other Observations We note that the dust collector unit is fitted with explosion relief facility. This facility should be ducted to a safe place in the open air. Where this is not possible then consideration should be given to the fitting of explosion deflector plates or the re-siting of the collector unit. In no case should it be discharged into occupied workrooms or areas containing combustible materials. Please provide the fan and motor technical data. Please provide the filter efficiency data. Capture effective up to 0.15m from the hood, which should be positioned accordingly during work activities.Condition at Time of Test Normal. (Process stood down) Fan Details
