WOAH! Another tough day at work for Joey the Lifeguard.
Joey has decided that he needs YOU to help him while he is on the job!
Your job is to help Joey through a series of tasks, through out the day, to make sure that everybody is safe
while in the water!
Joey’s first job is fairly easy, but he still needs the extra help.
Joey’s friend has asked him to lifeguard for her daughter’s 5th
birthday party. Joey gladly accepted!
Your job is to help Joey spot the drowning child in the
water! You have to be quick!!! You only have 20
seconds to save him!
Click the thumbs up to begin!
You weren’t fast enough! Luckily Joey came to the rescue and
saved the little boy!
I wonder what is next?
CONGRATULATIONS!!
You saved the little boy in time! On to the next job you go!!
Joey just got a call from the head lifeguard and he was told that
there is a boat in trouble!
You must help Joey go through the tough waters to find the boat!!
ARE YOU READY??
It’s a race against time! You have 10 seconds to get through the
water maze!
You have to be fast! Make your way
through the maze of water. The light
blue is safe, but the dark blue has
sharks!! Once you reach the boat,
click on it! In order to begin, you must click
Joey’s head!

You landed in the dark, scary water where the sharks live!!! And you didn’t even get the
boat!
You successfully saved the boat! Congratulations! Now
move onto your final job for the day!
It is the end of the day. Joey was told that he has to give you a
little test to see how much you know about water safety. There
are 5 questions. You need at least 3 to pass. Dolphins jump
up, giving you a point, but waterfalls go down, leaving you
with nothing.
There are a series of questions on the next page that you are to answer. You
will have a true or false response. If you answer correctly, you will get a dolphin, but incorrect answers send you down
the waterfall. Count how many dolphins and waterfalls you have at the end to
see if you have passed.
1. A 5 feet deep pool is deep enough to dive in
2. Children under the age of 10 are allowed to swim by themselves if they can swim
well3. Calling 911 if somebody is
unconscious is the last priority
4. When boating, you must always have a lifejacket on
5. You must be aware of your surroundings, when swimming, at all times
If you scored…
2 or less: Joey will have to let you go. Your results aren’t satisfying.
3: You can be Joey’s assistant lifeguard.
4 or more: Joey is very impressed and says, “You’re hired!”
