A tiny tadpole hatches from each egg.

It has a long tail, gills and swims in the water.

What does it eat? Plants and algae!

A tadpole is a larva.

The tadpole grows hind legs first.

It then grows front legs.

It’s tail gets smaller and it is now a froglet!

The froglet now has lungs and loses its tail.
