LADDER SAFETY KITLEVEL 1
Level 1 Equipment is used on leaning access ladders, where the operative can safely ascend and descend the ladder maintaining 3 points of contact at all times.
• Cavity Wall Insulation• Cable Clipping• Security Equipment Installation • Pest Control - Wasp nets etc
The principal of the level 1 system is simplicity and compliance. You secure the ladder to the wall and secure the operative to the ladder.
Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4
Fit harness and short lanyard(cowstail)
Secure the ladder to the wall at ground level, using a re-usable eyebolt, strap and yolk
Climb the ladder and secure yourself to the ladder rung with the cowstail
Once Secured the user can remove both hands to work
Level 1 Equipment Includes
• Fully Waterproofed body harness, with front and rear attachment points.• Adjustable length cowstail with large snaplock and small autolocking karabiner.• Reusable eyebolt (sizes available 12mm, 20mm, 22mm & 26mmØ)• Ladder Strap with cam lock• Ladder Yoke• Drill Bandolier• Heavy Duty Storage bag

Level 2 Equipment is used on leaning access ladders, when the operative cannot safely ascend and descend the ladder maintaining 3 points of contact at all times.
• Gutter Repair, Replacement, Cleaning &Painting• Fascia Repair, Replacement &Painting• Window Repairs, Painting• Security Equipment Installation / Maintenance• Brick / Pointing Repairs / Roughcast Repairs• Satellite & Aerial Installation• Gas Flue Fitting / Overflow Fitting/Repairs • Pole mounted CCTV Camera Maintenance
The level 2 system follows the same principal of the Level 1 equipment (secure ladder to wall, secure operative to ladder) with the addition of a rope and rope grab acting as a running line. The rope and grab enables the user to carry equipment in one hand, while ascending or descending the ladder.
Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4
Secure ladder to wall and fit harness
Fit rope grab to rope at ground level
Climb ladder maintaining three points of contact
Once in position, slide robe grab as high as comfortably possible, and the user can now remove both hands to work
Level 2 Equipment Includes• Fully Waterproofed body harness, with front and rear attachment points.• Adjustable length cowstail with large snaplock and small autolocking karabiner.• Rope Grab• 11mmØ Kernmantle Rope with large snaplock Karabiner• Reusable eyebolt (sizes available 12mm, 20mm, 22mm & 26mmØ)• Ladder Strap with cam lock• Ladder Yoke• Drill Bandolier• Heavy Duty Storage bag

Level 3 Equipment has been designed to achieve safe access from the ground, onto roof ladders.
Applications for Short Duration / Low Risk working on pitched roof's.
• Roof Tile Replacement Ridge Tile Replacement
• Chimney Repairs (pointing, lead and small patching repairs)
• Satellite & Aerial Installation / Removal
• Gas Flue Fitting / Repair / Removal
Using the level 3 system the operative can safely ascend and descend the ladder maintaining 3 points of contact at all times.
The level 3 system follows the same principal of the Level 1 & 2 equipment (secure ladder to wall, secure operative to ladder)
with the added ability to secure the roof ladder to the access ladder and safely transfer from either. The rope and rope grab again enables the user to carry equipment in one hand, while ascending or descending the ladder.
This system is used extensively for the installation of Sky TV satellite dishes, digital aerials, gas and heating systems, social housing repair teams, roofers and so on.
Step 1 Step 2 Step 3

Tetra have been working with Solar Panel Install Teams, Operations Teams and Safety Managers around the country, listening to the safety and operational issues each department has when installing solar PV panels on roofs. As with our extensive range of Ladder Safety Systems, we’ve made our Solar PV Work Restraint System very simple to use, train and inspect.
The Solar PV adjustable lanyard has been designed to provide a work restraint system that utilises the panel brackets and framework as attachment points. Used in conjunction with a collective edge protection system the adjustable lanyard still provides sufficient movement to work, but prevents the user from reaching a point where a fall could occur
Increased productivity from the install teams.
A considerable reduction of risk and time.

Equipment Inspection Training
A simple safe method of installing panels on roofs,
which the installers are happy and comfortable with.
Tetra can offer two options for the supporting training
on our PV Fall Restraint System.
Please note – The Tetra PV Restraint System must always be used
in conjunction with a collective edge protection system.
Training
The basic principal is using the panel brackets and framework as your restraint anchor point. The adjustable restraint lanyard provides sufficient movement to work, but prevents the user from reaching a point where a fall could occur.
