Student Summer Camps at Chinmaya Garden Trust, Coimbatore:
Balvihar Camp 2017
The most awaited camp for Classes V and VI – the Balvihar camp at Chinmaya Gardens-
Coimbatore was held from the 19th to 21st of April 2017. An amazing trip, filled with fun and
frolic accompanied with activities ranging from games like “Filling the bottles”, preparation of
skits, making your own juices and a few more creative activities, this camp provided our nine
and ten year old children the experience of staying away from home and parents for three/four
days , thereby, appreciating the role of parents and caretakers in their daily lives. Also staying in
an ashram, in a very pious atmosphere gave them the strength to think correctly, reciprocating
and sharing their ideas with each other. This was the first step for our Vidyalaya students to be
in coherence with the CVP Principle of Universal Outlook.

the HariSeva Camp organized by the education cell of CCMT at Chinmaya Gardens, Coimbatore.
Onward Journey to Coimbatore
The present generation of children and youth are growing up in an environment of
extreme materialism which is making them more selfish and preventing them from appreciating
all they have. Seva/Service can transform them from a selfish consumer to a giving producer.
CCMT- Education Cell is introducing the Chinmaya Bala/Yuva seva Certificate so as to inculcate a
spirit of “Seva Bhava” and to bring in an internal transformation wherein they shed their ego &
selfishness and develop the right attitude towards work and society.
